Job Description:

• Shift: Rotating - D/N. Expected to work every other weekend. *The LPN candidate MUST be able to take their own assignment.* (Please ensure your candidate is acceptable to this) This is NOT an LTC unit; minimum of 1-2 years of acute care hospital experience is required. This is a great opportunity for LPNs who are in process of becoming RN. AHA BLS is required. The facility will accept local LPN candidates. Float is expected to other MS/Tele units. If floating to ICU or ER, it would be to care for MedSurg level patients or to be helping hands. Facility can call off up to 3 shifts for 13-week contract and 2 shifts less than 13-week contract. Expected to work every other holiday.

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
• Experience is preferred in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.

• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
