Registered Nurse - Pediatric Float (0.9 FTE, Night Shift) - 239382 (21801670)
Overview:
The Registered Nurse will respond to critical needs in varying units and may float between them during a given shift, including Adolescent/Pediatric Unit, PICU, NICU, ISCU, and Pediatric Transport.
Responsibilities:
- Meet rapidly changing or unexpected patient care needs.
- Assure safe transport of all patients
- Maintain family centered care philosophy of respect, information sharing and collaboration during transport process
- Evaluate patient’s response to care and initiates independent and/or collaborative changes where appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
- Nursing Baccalaureate degree (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing, or must attain a BSN within six years of hire
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
- Current BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- Experience as an RN in PICU, NICU, or ICU
- Skilled in the management of transport equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Pediatric charge nurse or relief charge nurse
