An exciting career awaits you at RN Services Private Duty Care!  We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse with three or more years experience to work overnight shifts.  We have a no sleeping policy.  Care is needed immediately for a client who lives on a beautiful estate in Clayton.  Very nice family in need of overnight hours throughout the week/weekend.  Experience caring for client with Dementia/Alzheimer's required. Great opportunity for RN's looking for additional hours and a flexible schedule.

We service high-end clients in the St. Louis area and are looking for caring, dependable and team-oriented individuals interested in earning the highest rate in the industry. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides private duty care to the client as directed by the client and/or client’s family in accordance with RN Services policies and federal/state laws/regulations. Under the direction of the client and the client’s family, the RN provides in-home overnight care. The RN reports to the client, the client’s family, and the client’s Team Leader and other team members.
Qualifications
Is a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, and is currently licensed as an RN in the state of Missouri with working knowledge of professional standards and principles.
  • Has a minimum of three year's nursing experience, preferably with hospital and geriatric experience.
  • Must be a licensed driver with a clean driving record and adhere to RN Services’ Vehicle Safety Program.
  • Has a vehicle that is insured in accordance with state and/or RN Services’ policy and is in good working order.
  • Must own a cellphone with Internet and texting capabilities.
  • Must have daily access to RN Services’ email.
  • Must complete all physical and mental demands, which may include, but not be limited to the following: the ability to transfer clients, carry supplies, stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and speak effectively
  • Responsibilities:
  • Has working knowledge of home safety, including physical and psychological dangers, for self, the client, and other team members.
  • Complies with RN Services’ policies and procedures including standards of conduct and work ethics, HIPAA policy, dress code and weekend and holiday availability policies.
  • Agrees to variable overnight work schedules (with no sleeping), including weekend and holiday hours and client changes.
  • Complies with all state and local regulations and accreditation standards, including CPR certification.
  • Accepts responsibilities of another client for a team leader when they have personal time off.
  • Is responsible for working all assigned shifts and for finding a replacement for shift when needed.
  • Assumes other duties, as requested by the team leader or president.
  • Establishes and maintains harmonious relationships with the client, the client’s family, and other team members.
  • Has excellent writing and charting skills and prepares reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintains objectivity in coping with the stress of working with acute, chronic and terminally ill clients.
  • Possesses ingenuity to handle medical and situational emergencies.
  • Deals well with abrupt schedule changes.
  • Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
